Tai Duncan, MS, LMHC
I earned my B.A. from Hanover College and my M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for the state of Indiana. I have worked with a variety of client populations, including teens, couples, families, and and I specialize in anxiety disorders.
My personal and professional philosophy about people is that we are stronger than we allow ourselves to believe. Individuals who are having mental or emotional struggles often need to have a trusted person to serve as an outlet. Additionally, individuals may need someone to help them learn more effective coping skills in order to achieve their life goals. My objective as a mental health professional is to provide clients with a safe, confidential, and friendly environment in which to sort through their stressors and gain insight into thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I aim to be an ally in helping clients to work towards identifying and achieving goals towards better mental, emotional, and physical health. Key components of my therapeutic work include client empowerment, insight development, mind/body work, identification of feelings, decision-making and coping skills, and providing support.
